Anjung Saujana Presents Thai Food Festival 2017

Royal Brunei Catering in association with Royal Thai Embassy, His Excellency Peewarit Swanak Pratid and His Wife, Madam Supinya Swanak Pratid, are pleased to present a Thai Food Festival from 24th August to 30thth September 2017. The glorious Thai Food Festival is to be held at Anjung Saujana Restaurant this year.

The official launching of Thai Food Festival took place on Tuesday, 22nd August 2017 at Anjung Saujana Restaurant. Throughout these four weeks, the Chef of Anjung Saujana Restaurant will prepare authentic Thai Cuisine and transform Anjung Saujana Restaurant into a journey to a Thai food extravaganza as guests are invited to taste an aromatic menu prepared by RBC’s own Thai chef, Chef Miss Tichamon Somanee.

 

Guests can enjoy Dinner Buffet for this promotion. The Dinner Buffet promotion is at the regular price of $28.00 per adult and $16.90 per child every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. RBC Dining Privilege Card members can enjoy a 15% discount with a condition that the RBC dining privilege card must be presented during the settlements of their bill.

Food lovers will be tempted by the ever-popular Thailand hawker food ranging from the delicious“Som Tum”- “Green Papaya Salad, “Nam Prik Long Rua” – a Thai dipping sauce that is normally eaten with vegetables, “Khao Soi” – Northern Thailand style chicken noodle, “Nam Prik Plaa” – a Thai condiment made out of fish sauce, lime juice, and chopped bird's eye chilies, “Khanom Dok Jok” – a very well-known crispy pastry cookies since the ancient times and “Tab Tim Krob” which is known as “Ruby Crispy” served in coconut milk. Food tourism plays a vital role, it becomes the bridge of understanding between the traveler and a country’s local culture and heritage.
